After School Program - Sacred Hearts School, Lahaina -
GOOD NEWS!  After School Program’s NEW BILLING STRUCTURE

Beginning January 7th  -  $5 an hour or $50 a week!

If you are not registered for the After School Program, please come to the office and Ms. Jan can assist you with the paperwork you will need in order to attend the ASP.  Darlene Bagusta, our After School Program Director, can also help you with the paperwork.

We are offering two choices:

1) An hourly rate of $5 for those looking for after school care part-time, anything less than 5 days a week.

2) A FULL-TIME (5-days a week) discounted weekly rate of $50 per week. Anything less than 5 days a week will be charged the hourly rate of $5.00 per hour.
IMPORTANT:  Regarding the hourly rate, to avoid being charged the full weekly fee, please be sure to sign your child IN and OUT each time. Hours are Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri. 2:15PM to 5PM and Wed. 1:15PM to 5PM

The children work on their homework or play quietly for an hour after school in the Damien Room, then have supervised playtime outside where you would most likely pick them up.

Just a quick “Hello” to welcome all of you to the new school year with a few reminders:
  • Monday, Aug. 6 is an early dismissal day (11 a.m.).
  • For Kindergarteners Monday and Tuesday are early dismissal days.
  • The After School Program will be in service as of Tuesday, Aug. 7. (2:15-5:00). You will need to sign-up/register in the school office before we can supervise your child.
  • On Monday your child will be bringing home a light blue folder with important papers for you to read, sign and return to the school.
  • The Parent Teacher Guild (PTG) will hold a meeting Wed. Aug. 8 after school at (1:15 p.m.) in the Resource Room, which is next to Kindergarten.
  • The August lunch menu is attached.  Lunches are $5.00.  Your child’s teacher has all the unused lunch tickets from last year.  If your child had any ticket left from last year, the total value of those old tickets will be credited to you for lunches purchased this school year.

Live at Recess! – Making of the Mural -

During four days, New York muralist, Nikole Nelson changed the lives of every student at Sacred Hearts School. In just one hour, Pastor Paul Tangonan changed the World with a song he wrote and dedicated to the students who helped him heal after a dangerous sickness. It all came together on January 12th . . . LIVE at Recess!
